I began my professional career at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) working with children and families who were victims of sexual abuse. Later, I became part of the Pediatric Advanced Care Team, where I provided emotional support to terminally ill children and their families. I finished my career at CHOP as a clinical social worker providing specialized grief therapy to children and adults. In addition to my experience in healthcare, I have extensive experience and specialized training in individual, couples and family therapy. I completed post-graduate course work in marriage and family therapy modalities.
I graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Masters degree in Social Work. In addition to my formal education I am a dedicated student of yoga and meditation. I enjoy finding ways to combine my counseling skills with yoga and meditation.
I enjoy spending time with family and close friends, vegan cooking, yoga, meditation, and finding new ways to celebrate life!
